Saw a tiny bird with a bright yellow chest hopping around my azalea bush this morning in Raleigh.
I grabbed my binoculars and watched it for about ten minutes before it flew off, but I can't figure out if it was a yellow warbler or maybe a female goldfinch... what's the easiest way to tell them apart in the spring?

My bird ID skills are so bad I once argued with a squirrel.

Arguing with a squirrel is a new low. What did you even think it was, some kind of weird woodpecker? Did the squirrel talk back or just stare at you?
