My car died on the way to a job interview, then a stranger jumpstarted me
Was stuck at a gas station off I-35 in Austin for almost an hour. A guy in a pickup truck saw me pop the hood and asked if I needed help, got me running in 5 minutes. Made it to the interview with two minutes to spare, got the job.

My buddy once helped a guy push his dead minivan off a bridge in the rain. Never saw if he made it.
