A kid in my chair yesterday started crying when I turned on the clippers.

I was in the middle of a fade at my station in Milwaukee when he just lost it. How do you handle a scared little client without making the whole cut take forever?

Used to think they just needed to tough it out.

I had the same view for a long time. Seeing a close friend go through it showed me how wrong I was. It's not about toughness at all.
