Appreciation post: the goodwill in austin has a shelf of weird kitchen gadgets

I went to the Goodwill on South Lamar last weekend and noticed they have an entire endcap dedicated to strange kitchen tools. One side says these are useless novelty items like a banana slicer and an egg separator that looks like a spider. The other side says someone actually tested them and they work fine for 50 cents. Has anyone else found a weird gadget there that turned out to be actually useful?

...and honestly the gimmicky stuff is sometimes the BEST find there. I picked up a slap chop looking thing that turned out to be a PERFECT avocado masher for like a dollar. Never would have paid full price but it works way better than a fork ever did.

Always the random kitchen gadgets nobody wanted that end up being the real lifesavers, never the fancy stuff everyone chases.
