Had to choose between finishing The Bear or starting Severance last weekend
I only had time for one show before my trip. The Bear was intense and loud, but I was hooked. Severance seemed like a slow burn mystery. I picked Severance and binged it all in one night, that cliffhanger ending was crazy. Did I make the right call, or should I have stuck with The Bear first?

Severance was the clear choice here. That ending hits way harder when you have no idea what's coming, and now you're safe from spoilers. The Bear can wait until after your trip.

That "crazy cliffhanger ending" is exactly why you made the right call. The Bear will always be there, but Severance is the kind of show you need to watch while avoiding spoilers. Now you're all caught up and ready for season two.

Sarah_hart is totally right about spoilers ruining the fun. It's like when you're scrolling and see a huge game score before you get to watch the highlights. The surprise is just gone. My friend texted me the big twist in a movie last year and I'm still annoyed. Some stories need that fresh, unspoiled experience to really hit you. Getting to see a crazy ending with no warning is the best feeling.
