My brother argued that watching a show weekly is better than binging the whole season at once.

He said the week between episodes lets you really think about the story, which hit different because I just devoured the new season of 'Shining Girls' in one night and can't remember half the plot twists.

I used to be all about binging too, couldn't stand waiting. But then I tried watching a mystery show weekly and it actually clicked for me. The week between episodes gave me time to notice little details I would have missed if I just powered through. Like with Shining Girls, I bet if you spread it out you'd remember more of the twists because your brain has time to chew on each one. I still binge some stuff but I get the appeal now, especially for shows that are really layered.

Honestly, I'm the total opposite. If I have to wait a week, I completely forget what happened last time. Binging lets me stay in the story's world and actually follow the complex stuff. When I space it out, the emotional payoff just gets lost for me. I tried watching weekly shows and I always end up rewatching the last five minutes of the previous episode to remember. What's the point of that?
