Splurged on a 4K box set and it actually saved movie night
I dropped $120 on the complete series of that old British detective show and now the kids are so hooked we've gone through 3 seasons in a week, has anyone else found that buying physical discs beats streaming for a full family binge?

Used to be all digital in this house, but our internet took a dive during a storm and we were stuck with nothing. Grabbed one of those big box sets on a whim and it completely turned things around. No buffering, no "title not available in your region" junk, just hit play and go. The kids actually sit through the opening credits now instead of scrolling for something else. We cancelled two streaming services last week and honestly don't miss them one bit. Was shocked how much better the picture looks on disc too, that old show never looked sharper.
