Heads up about that new 'collector's edition' of Terraforming Mars

Three years ago, I pre-ordered the deluxe version from a small online retailer for $180, and it arrived with a warped main board that wouldn't lie flat. The company's customer service basically ghosted me after two emails. Has anyone else had a similar issue with a big-box game release lately?

My copy of that game has a board so warped it looks like a topographic map of Mars. I just use it as a coaster now.

Actually, that warped board might be fixable! Putting it under some heavy books for a few days can flatten it out pretty well. I had a Monopoly board that was a total mess, and that method saved it. Just make sure the room isn't too humid when you try it, or it'll just warp again. Would be a shame to use a game board as a coaster if it can be saved.

That topographic map line got me, @mary_ramirez67. My old Risk board did the same thing.
