Tried a cooperative game with hidden traitor rules and it split my group in half
I brought out Battlestar Galactica with a mix of veterans and new players last Friday. The hidden traitor mechanic created so much suspicion that two friends almost stopped talking to each other over a fake accusation. On one side, three of us loved the paranoia and think it makes the game deeper. On the other, two people felt it ruined the fun and said they'd rather play something purely cooperative. Which side do you lean on for hidden traitor games, or do you think the group dynamic just has to be right?

Right? "Fake accusation" ruined our whole game night once too.

Hate when that happens, totally feel your pain on that one.

Guess nobody was buying that "just the werewolf" defense.
