Hit 500 welds on a single job today in Baton Rouge

I been working this tank repair for the last three weeks and my count hit 500 welds this afternoon. Didnt realize I was that deep into it until I marked the tally on the whiteboard. Any of yall ever keep track of your weld count on a big job and get surprised by the number?

Honestly, are you counting every root pass and hot pass separate or just lumping the whole joint as one? Cause I know on tanks you got that deep groove to fill and I could see the count blowing up if you're tallying every single bead. On a 200-foot straight seam with a copper backing bar I had to call it 15 welds just for the root and weave fills.

Are you counting every single weld or just the main passes? Seems like that number would add up fast on a tank job.
