Can we talk about how long it took me to settle a book club debate on unreliable narrators?
I spent a full 6 hours last Tuesday arguing with my group over whether the narrator in *The Girl on the Train* was actually unreliable or just drunk. Everyone had a different take, and we got nowhere until someone pulled up a list of clues from chapter 3. I ended up making a whole spreadsheet to track her memory gaps, which felt insane but settled it. Has anyone else had a book club debate go way longer than you expected?
