After three years, my fiddle leaf fig finally put out a new leaf
I bought it as a sad little plant from a grocery store in Tacoma back in 2021, and it just sat there doing nothing but dropping leaves for ages. Last week, I saw a tiny green point poking out of the top, and now it's a full, perfect leaf. What finally made yours decide to grow?

Honestly I feel this on such a deep level because my fiddle leaf fig has been nothing but a stick in a pot for like two years now. Every time I walk past it I give it this little pep talk like "come on buddy, do something." Then last month I accidentally knocked it over while vacuuming and a week later there were THREE new leaves sprouting. So apparently the secret to mine growing is a near death experience and my own clumsiness.
