My pantry challenge turned into a delicious victory!
I just had to share my little win with you all! I set myself a challenge to cook dinners for a week using only what I had in my pantry and fridge. Last night, I whipped up a creamy pasta with canned tomatoes and some frozen veggies, and it was amazing! I've been getting into creative cooking as a way to unwind after work, and this challenge was so fun. Best part? I didn't spend a single extra dollar at the store this week! I even cooked a big pot of bean soup from scratch, which gave me leftovers for days. It feels great to save money and eat well at the same time!

My pantry challenge would just be a box of stale crackers.

Stale crackers is a whole mood. That's the real pantry challenge right there, staring at the one sad box you forgot about. You'd have to get creative, like crushing them into "breadcrumbs" for some weird meatloaf. Honestly, most pantries are just a graveyard of half-used pasta and expired cans.

How did you get your pasta sauce so creamy without fresh stuff? My friend tried a pantry week last month and it went so wrong lol. He made "fried rice" using only frozen peas and soy sauce packets, and it tasted like salty sadness. His big win was finding a can of chili behind the soup cans, but then he realized it expired in 2020. He gave up and ordered pizza by day three, but at least he cleaned his shelves out.
