The taco truck on 5th Street used to have a line around the block, now it's just a couple people. What happened?

A wedding client wanted a full arch made of fresh lavender. It took me four days to source enough that wasn't already dried or turning brown.

My home network got hit with a ransomware pop-up last Tuesday, but after installing a Pi-hole on a Raspberry Pi 4, the junk traffic just vanished overnight.

That architect in Denver insisted on 1/4 inch annealed for a 10-foot storefront window, saying 'the look is worth the risk', but I still think it was a bad call.

Quick-dry fillers are failing faster than advertised in my experience

Yeah, jake_carter's right... heat turns the whole tube into a useless brick.

My client's new logo is a business dinosaur thanks to AI

Remember when my buddy asked for a "cool dog" for a graphic? The AI gave him a husky wearing sunglasses on an iceberg. It totally missed the casual vibe and just glued together the most obvious parts of each word. These things really do just play dictionary mad libs sometimes.

Shoutout to the free brush pack from Krita's website

Their brush dynamics are a total game-changer for making custom textures on the fly!

Rant: I think we need to talk about how we handle attic runs in the summer

Yeah but come on, is it really THAT bad? I've done plenty of hot attic jobs. Just drink more water and take breaks. @robertanderson is overreacting, nobody's getting killed from a little heat.

Unpopular opinion: Gadget review talks with my boss got me a better work setup.

Honestly it's wild how much a good chair changes everything. Like wren958 said, her friend's whole setup got better. I see it with desks too, people using a wobbly table for years then finally getting a solid one and their focus just clicks. Tbh we put up with bad gear forever until someone points out a deal. Then it feels like a life upgrade for fifty bucks.
