Just saw my emergency fund hit $5,000 for the first time, which felt impossible six months ago.
I started by automatically moving $50 from every paycheck into a separate savings account, and seeing that number made me realize I can actually handle a surprise car repair or vet bill without panicking. Has anyone else hit a savings goal that felt totally out of reach before?

Nice! That's a solid start. Honestly though, bump that goal to like $7,500. A real car repair can wipe out $5k fast.
