Went from ignoring my grocery receipts to actually checking them last week

I used to just grab my bags and go, never looking at the receipt. But last Tuesday I got home and noticed I was charged $6.49 for avocados that were on sale for $1.00 each. The cashier rang them up as organic. I went back and got a $5.49 refund. That one trip made me check every receipt since. So far this week I've caught two other pricing errors totaling $8.23. How often do you actually look at your grocery receipts?

Oh boy, that avocado thing would've gotten me too. Do you think the pricing errors you're finding are mostly from sale items not scanning correctly, or more of the cashier just hitting the wrong key?

Bet half the time it's the register having wrong sale dates loaded in the system.
