Vent: My old habit of trying every marker in the store finally broke after a single comment from a stranger at a coffee shop
This lady next to me said 'your journal looks like a hardware store exploded in rainbow chaos' and it hit me that my spreads were all tools and no function so now I actually ask 'does this help me track anything?' before I add a washi tape border.

Honestly, that hardware store burn would've fixed me too. Sometimes you need a random stranger to call you out on your mess.

Hardware store exploded in rainbow chaos" that's hilarious but also kinda brutal. I had a similar wake up call when someone asked if I actually used my journals or just liked buying pretty stickers. Now I keep a separate "ugly brain dump" book and only decorate the ones I need to look at again.
