Was skeptical of weekly spreads for months, now I don't know why I fought it

I swore by my daily rapid logging for about 8 months. Thought weekly spreads were just fluff and wasted space. Then I had a week where I kept missing deadlines because I wasn't seeing the full picture at a glance. Finally tried a simple 2-page weekly layout with task columns, and now I actually hit my due dates. Anyone else switch sides on a method they used to hate?

My buddy Tom was the same way with his kitchen timer method for years. He used to set timers for everything during his workday and swore it was the only way to stay on track. Then he missed three client calls in one week because he couldn't see his whole day's schedule laid out. He finally caved and tried a paper weekly layout after I kept bugging him about it. Now he's got a whole spread with color coded blocks and says he actually feels calmer about his workload.

That's awesome, this is such a classic story! It's funny how people get stuck on one method because it worked for a while, even when it starts causing bigger problems. I see this all the time with friends who swear by their phone reminders until they miss something important and realize a simple paper calendar just gives them that big picture view.
