Bought a cheap pressure washer on Amazon based on 4.5 stars and it died after 3 uses

The reviews were all glowing but the pump started leaking water on my third driveway job in Portland. I looked closer and half the 5 star reviews were from accounts with no other purchase history. Has anyone else noticed fake reviews flooding basic tool listings?

Yeah I mean I got a $60 electric pressure washer off Amazon like 2 years ago and its still running fine. 3 uses seems low but maybe you just got a lemon, that happens with anything cheap. I see people complaining about fake reviews all the time but honestly most of my cheap tool buys have been fine even with questionable reviews. Could be that the pump was weak from the start and woulda died anyway.

Dude my buddy bought the exact same cheap pressure washer and his died after like 4 uses too. He was so ticked he just chunked it in the trash and borrowed mine lol.
