Left a 2 star review for a $60 hair dryer last week and got a refund plus a $15 gift card from the seller
I just wanted the thing to stop smelling like burnt plastic and they offered me money to take the review down, which honestly made me trust the listing less, so has anyone else had a seller try to buy back a bad review like that?

My buddy Dave went through this with a $40 blender off Amazon, seller offered him a $20 card to delete his review about the blade rusting after two weeks. He took the card but left the review up anyway, and they stopped replying to his messages. Feels like once they get what they want you're on your own.
