My review hit 1000 words without me even trying

I was writing up a long post about a new coffee grinder I got, just trying to be thorough. When I pasted it into the site's box, the word counter at the bottom said 1024. I never set out to write that much, I just kept adding details about the grind settings and noise. It made me realize people probably want that level of info before they buy something. Do you guys aim for a certain length when you write reviews, or just let it flow?

Yeah, I always split the difference... put the key takeaway right up top in a few lines, then have a "details" section below for the people who really care. That way you cover both crowds without making anyone scroll forever.

Honestly, that length can turn people off. Most folks just skim for the star rating and a quick pros and cons list. Getting too deep into the weeds on grind settings is overkill for the average buyer who just wants a decent cup.

Getting deep into the weeds" is exactly how my reviews go too.
