Update: The $68 dress I returned after one wash

I bought this dress from a boutique in Austin last month, wore it once, and the seams started unraveling after a cold wash. I took photos, emailed the store, and they refunded me with no hassle after I showed them the damage. Has anyone else had luck getting stores to fix poor quality items instead of just returning them?

Oh man, that's awesome they refunded you with no pushback! I had a similar thing with a pair of jeans from a random shop in Denver - the zipper broke after two wears and they just swapped them out, no questions asked.

Ha, lucky you! I got a shirt once that fell apart after one wash and the store clerk looked at me like I was trying to pull a scam. Guess my face just screams "shady character.
