My go-to drawer slide jig snapped on me this morning

The 3/4 inch plywood arm just gave out after about five years of use. What's a more durable material I should use for the replacement?

Honestly, five years is pretty good for plywood.

Yeah, depends on the weather and how it's sealed. A good coat of exterior paint or stain every couple years helps a ton.
