One comment about my face frames changed how I do every glue-up now

I've been doing glue-ups with pocket screws for like 6 years, then a guy I subbed for in Denver told me my joints looked 'pulled' and I had no idea what he meant. He showed me that I was cranking the screws too tight before the glue set, which was throwing my corners out of square by almost 1/16 inch. Now I let the clamps hold everything for 20 minutes first, anyone else deal with this or am I just slow?

Took me about four years and a crooked pantry door to figure out the same thing. I used to crank screws like I was trying to tighten a tire lug, and my cabinets looked like they were designed by a drunk giraffe. Now I set the clamps, walk away, and come back when the glue's bored with me.
