Man that is frustrating. I once spent a whole weekend fighting with a cabinet door that was off by like a quarter inch, turns out the hinge screws were stripped the whole time. Sometimes you just gotta learn the hard way and it makes you wanna throw the tape measure across the room. At least you got it done, even if it took forever.
