My fish tape trick was costing me hours on every attic run
I used to think feeding a loop into the wall cavity was smart, until a guy in Phoenix showed me his straight-shot method. He just tapes the head and pushes, gets through insulation way faster. Am I the only one who learned this late?

Wait, you were still doing the loop thing? Yeah man, that's a killer on time. The straight push is the only way with blown-in insulation. Tape the head good so it doesn't snag, maybe add a little bend at the very tip. If you hit a block, pull it back a foot and give it a slight wiggle as you push, it usually finds a path. Saved me so many headaches.

That wiggle trick is gold. My buddy spent half a day fighting a blockage until someone told him to do exactly that, just a little jiggle. He felt like a genius when it slid right through.
