Stopped using zip ties for bundling cables inside the house, went with velcro straps instead
Tbh, after a service call in a condo last week where I had to cut 20 zip ties just to trace a bad line, I'm never going back. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed how much easier rework gets?

Had this exact thing happen to me last year... crushed a cat6 cable just a little too tight with a zip tie and the customer started getting intermittent drops. Ended up having to rerun the whole line. What really sold me on velcro was seeing how much easier it is to add or remove cables when you're running new stuff later. Zip ties are fine for permanent installs inside walls maybe, but for anything accessible they just create headaches down the road. Bigger bundles too... velcro lets you adjust tension so you don't pinch one cable while the rest are loose. Makes the whole setup look cleaner and way simpler to service later.

Wait until you get called back because the zip tie was too tight and crushed the cable.
