Liner seam split at 2am on the AT in Virginia
I was camped near a stream in the Shenandoahs when my sleeping pad liner split right down the middle. It was 38 degrees and I had no backup. I ended up using my emergency blanket as a ground sheet and stuffing leaves under me for insulation. Has anyone else had a liner fail on a cold night and have to improvise?

You mean your sleeping bag liner right? A pad liner isn't a thing.

Oh man @caseyclark you caught me! I'm out here calling my bag liner a "pad liner" like I've been camping for five minutes instead of five years. Guess I'll just stick to calling it my "ground blanket" next time to really confuse everyone.
