Small win: camp stove finally lit on first try at Lake Tahoe

Been fighting this old Coleman for a month. Got it going with one match before sunrise. Anyone else deal with a finicky stove that suddenly works?

You ever just stare at it and give it a little pep talk? My old Primus did the same thing last weekend, finally fired up after a month of sulking.

Hell yeah, I'll sit there and negotiate with it like it's a stubborn mule. "Cmon buddy, I got places to be, don't make me get the jumper cables.
