Can we talk about how my job's busy season wrecked my fall riding trips?
I was so pumped to hit the coastal highways in BC this September, but my manager sprung a last-minute report that needs all my attention. Now I'm logging extra hours daily and my bike hasn't left the driveway in weeks. Some people at the office joke about 'just riding later,' but they don't understand how packed the calendar gets. I even booked time off months ago, but it got denied because of this new deadline. It feels like my passion for riding is being pushed aside for spreadsheets and meetings. The weather is perfect right now, and I'm stuck inside staring at screens. How do you all handle when your job eats into riding time? I'm worried I'll miss the whole season if this keeps up.

Christmas rush turns my garage into a bike museum!

Museums keep stuff behind ropes. Your garage sounds more like a working bike shop before the big day. Those aren't exhibits, they're future memories. A beat-up balance bike headed to a cousin is way better than some dusty artifact. It's organized chaos with a purpose.
