Finally got my old CB350 running smooth after a year of weekend tinkering in the garage.

The idle was always rough and it would stall at lights. Last weekend I finally got the carb jets dialed in perfectly. Took it for a ride along the Credit River and it purred the whole way. Anyone else have a stubborn bike that just needed that one final adjustment?

Oh man, that's awesome. But you know, calling it a "final" adjustment is funny. My old Triumph is the same way. You get it perfect, then the weather changes or you ride at a different altitude, and suddenly it's back to being a little fussy. That perfect tune never seems to last forever, does it?

Yeah, a buddy of mine spent a whole weekend getting his carburetors just right. Took it up the mountain the next week and it ran like total garbage, lol. He said it's less of a final tune and more of a temporary truce.
