The customer who wanted carpet with zero seams in a 20x30 room
Had a guy last month in Denver who insisted his living room could be done with one solid piece of carpet, no seams at all. I tried to explain that carpet comes in 12 foot rolls and his room is 20 feet wide, so there's gonna be a seam somewhere. He got real defensive, said his buddy had a carpet that was seamless and he wanted the same. I pulled out my tape measure and literally showed him the math on his own floor. He still wasn't happy and called my boss to complain. My boss backed me up but the guy ended up canceling the job. Have any of you ever run into customers who just don't understand roll widths?

@anthony426 nailed it with that "reality vs ad in their head" thing. People see some Instagram perfect room and forget that physics and manufacturing limits exist. The math doesn't care about how much you want something to be possible.
