Frozen vs canned veggies showdown - I finally crunched the numbers

So I had to pick between buying frozen mixed veggies or canned ones for my weekly meal prep. Canned were 88 cents a can on sale, frozen were $1.50 a bag. I went with frozen because the texture is way better for stir fries and you don't get that weird metallic taste. Plus a frozen bag lasted me 4 meals while the can barely made 2 servings after I drained the liquid. The sodium difference was wild too - frozen had like 1/10 the salt. My wallet hurt a little more upfront but I actually finished all the meals instead of tossing half a can that got weird in the fridge. Anyone else notice canned stuff goes bad faster once you open it?

Oh man, the weird fridge thing is so real. I bought a can of corn for a chili recipe last month and after I used half, the rest turned into this slimy liquid mess and I had to toss it. Frozen is definitely the way to go for stir fries too. I learned that the hard way when I tried using canned green beans in a stir fry and they basically turned to mush.
