Hit 10,000 single-use plastic bottles avoided and it made me rethink my whole approach to recycling vs. reducing
I've been tallying my plastic use for 3 years now using a simple counter app, and I just crossed 10,000 bottles I didn't buy (like, refilling a reusable one instead). It got me thinking: should we spend more energy on these personal milestones or push harder for system-level bans on plastic packaging? Which side moves the needle more for climate action in your town?

Small habits just remind folks the real fix is at the store level.

The real fix is way upstream though, like the ingredients themselves.
