I finally talked to my neighbor about his new electric truck
We were getting the mail last Tuesday and he said he got it because his old gas truck cost him over $600 a month just in fuel. He told me he did the math and even with our high electricity rates, it's way cheaper. It hit different because he's a contractor, not someone you'd think would care about that stuff. Has anyone else had a chat like that that made you see a change you could actually make?

My contractor buddy switched for the same reason, KarenHenderson, and it still helps the planet.

Sounds like your neighbor did the math for his own wallet, not the planet. Contractors care about costs because it's their business, not some big statement. I see people switching for the savings all the time now. Makes you wonder how much of this change is really about being green versus just good old fashioned pinching pennies.
