Finally noticed people using the wrong grind size for pour overs at our local shop

I have been going to Brew & Bean downtown for about two years now. Lately I noticed a handful of regulars asking for espresso ground beans for their V60 pourover kits. The barista even told one guy last week that his brew time was under 90 seconds because the grind was too fine. It matters because the extraction gets all messed up and the coffee ends up bitter or sour. I only know this because I spent three months dialing in my own grind setting at home with a cheap scale. Have any of you seen this happen at your local coffee spot?

Let them use whatever grind they want, life's too short for gatekeeping coffee.
