I spent 4 hours trying to find a specific panel from a 90s X-Men comic for a friend's birthday gift.

I knew it was a splash page with Wolverine and Jubilee from around issue #281, but I had to dig through three longboxes in my garage and then search three different fan wikis because my memory was off. Has anyone else had a simple comic fact turn into a major research project?

Is it really a major research project though? You were just looking in your own garage and then online. I've seen people spend weeks trying to find an old car part or a specific record. That's a real hunt. This sounds more like a long afternoon of normal comic book stuff.
