Just realized I was wasting a ton of time on thermal paste application

I used to obsessively spread it with a card for a full 5 minutes, but after a client's PC in Austin kept overheating, I switched to the pea-sized dot method. Has anyone else found a simple trick that saved them a bunch of time on a basic task?

He probably had a whole system with twist ties from bread bags lol.
