inHad a seized freehub body on a customer's gravel bike that wouldn't budge
Yeah, the "wouldn't budge" part is so familiar. That feeling when the vise and the big lever just aren't doing anything is the worst. The heat gun trick is a solid last resort for that kind of corrosion weld. I've been there with a few hubs from wet winter riding, and a little careful heat really is the only way sometimes.

inHad a big wedding order ask for all white, but the bride wanted 'not boring'
My cousin's wedding had that same "not boring white" panic. Her mom almost had a fit when I suggested adding some of those weird, waxy white anthuriums. They look like something from a sci-fi movie, but honestly, they saved the whole look from being a blob of vanilla pudding. That texture is a total game changer when you can't use color.

inMy old air file sander gave up the ghost on a quarter panel job last Thursday.
Classic case of the tool waiting for the worst possible moment to die. At least it had the decency to do it on a Thursday and not a Friday, I guess.

inI keep seeing people mess up the timing for the Enchantments through hike in Washington
Is the snowline moving that much year to year though? I feel like last summer was weirdly cold and wet, so your early September trip might have been an outlier. I went in mid-September a couple years back and it was totally fine, no snow at all on the pass.

inJust learned the hard way about pre-made vs. fresh spice blends for my go-to stir fry.
But what about people who just need a quick dinner after work? The pre-mixed stuff is fine in a pinch and saves you from measuring five different spices.
