Walked into a client's home office and saw the wildest cable setup I've ever witnessed

Last week I went to fix a slow PC for this guy in Austin, and he had all his cables running through a PVC pipe he'd spray-painted gold and mounted on the wall. Looked like a medieval data throne or something lol. Has anyone else seen a DIY cable solution that just made you stop and stare?

Read a guy on another forum who used braided paracord for everything.

Wait, the paracord thing actually made me pause. Braided paracord for cables? That's a new level of dedication. I mean, I get wanting to keep things tidy but wrapping every single wire in braided cord sounds like a weekend project that turns into a month long nightmare. Did they use different colors for different devices or was it just one color for everything? Because if it's all the same color then good luck ever figuring out which cable goes to what. That sounds like something you'd see in a survivalist's gaming setup or something.
