Last Wednesday was a nightmare with a sloppy pour and a sudden rainstorm

We were finishing a driveway in Portland when the clouds opened up right after the pour, messed up the surface before we could get the tarp on. Anyone else ever had a job go sideways that fast?

And @violagonzalez you know the universe has it out for you when you finally get a weekend off and suddenly it's monsoon season out of nowhere... I swear I planned my whole camping trip around the forecast and it still managed to flip on me like a pancake. One minute I'm setting up the tent in sunshine, the next I'm wrestling with a tarp like a soggy burrito. Reminds me of that time I tried to grill during a hurricane warning and ended up eating cold hotdogs in the bathtub... not my finest moment. But hey, at least the weather gives us good stories to complain about later, right?
