I used to think the moon landing was fake until I saw a live debate in Chicago.

For years I only watched one-sided videos online that made it seem obvious. Then I saw two experts argue it out in person, and the debunker's points fell apart under real questioning. Has anyone else had a core belief flipped by seeing both sides go head to head?

My buddy Dave was a hardcore flat earther for like two years. He went to a public talk at the library where a pilot and a science teacher just asked him simple questions about sunsets. He shut up for a week and then admitted it was all nonsense. Seeing it live really got to him.

Honestly, I'm just glad he came around without needing to see the curve from space. Tbh I'd probably need a whole PowerPoint and some free snacks to change my mind on something that big. Guess some folks just need it broken down real simple.
