Tried debunking a moon landing hoax video for my friend and it backfired hard

So my buddy Mark sent me this 20 minute YouTube vid claiming the moon landing was faked, and I thought I'd spend an hour fact checking it. I found 3 specific things wrong, like a flag shadow that supposedly proved a studio light, but NASA's own docs explain it. When I showed Mark the proof, he just shrugged and said I was missing the 'real' evidence. Learned that logic doesn't beat emotion in these debates. Anyone else hit a wall like this trying to reason someone out of a conspiracy?

Three specific points is probably the right number honestly but the problem is you already lost by the time you showed him the proof. Next time try starting with "what would convince you otherwise" before you even pull up sources. That way you find out if they're even open to evidence or just looking for a fight. Mark sounds like he was already checked out before you opened your mouth.
