Why does nobody talk about how blow drying with a round brush vs a paddle brush is totally different

I spent 3 years using a paddle brush thinking I just had uncooperative hair, then a stylist in Denver showed me a round brush technique and my blowouts actually look good now. Has anyone else had that moment where a tool swap changed everything?

Came here to say the same thing basically. 3 years of sad, frizzy hair until I watched one YouTube video and felt like an idiot. Round brush changed my whole life for $12.

Rayc, you're right but $12 is a stretch for a good round brush. Mine was $8 at the drugstore and it fell apart after three months. Got a proper ceramic one for $20 and it actually lasts. They're not all the same, the cheap ones with the plastic bristles just snag and pull.
