Finally gave into using a password manager after my go-to bank password got flagged in a data breach
I used the same 12-character password for everything for 15 years and thought I was fine until LastPass sent me a breach alert on my primary email last Tuesday, and now I'm stuck migrating 47 accounts one by one.

47 accounts sounds about right for the average person. The real trick nobody mentions is that a password manager only helps if you actually change every single password after importing them. Last week I migrated everything and realized three accounts still had the old reused password because I forgot to click save.

lol the "forgot to click save" thing is so real. It's like when you think you've organized your whole life but then you find that one drawer full of random cables from 2012. I swear half the stuff I do now is just digital housekeeping that nobody talks about. Like we all have accounts we signed up for once to get a 10% discount and then never touched again, but they're still out there floating around with your email and a weak password. It's the same energy as having three different streaming services you forget to cancel, just quietly draining your time and security.
