My $30 password manager saved my bacon last month

I finally bit the bullet and paid for a password manager after putting it off for years. Got the family plan for about $30 a year and set it up for me and my wife. Last month our old email got compromised in a data breach and since I used unique passwords everywhere thanks to the manager, only that one account got hit. Has anyone else had a close call that made the subscription feel worth every penny?

oh man, same thing happened to me like two months ago. some old forum account i forgot about got leaked and since i had a different password for it, nothing else got touched. it's such a relief knowing you're not gonna lose everything over one stupid reused password.
