Two-step auth saved my butt during a layover in Chicago

Last month I was stuck at O'Hare with 20 minutes until boarding and my email account started sending password reset alerts, which was terrifying since I use it for everything. Turns out someone tried logging in from a different state at the exact same time my flight was delayed, and the 2FA code on my phone blocked them cold. Anyone else have a close call like this where that extra login step actually came through when it mattered most?
