Watched a guy at a Wichita coffee shop type his password into the username box, then act like the wifi was broken
He sat there for maybe 15 minutes, retyping the same 12 character password into the top box over and over, convinced the shop's network was down. I finally walked over and he had his email password sitting in plain view on the username field, which is basically an open front door if anyone's looking over. He said he does it on purpose so he never forgets which one is which. Does anyone know a simple app or browser trick that keeps people from pasting their password in the wrong field like this?
Get a password manager, seriously. I use Bitwarden, it autofills the right field so you never have to type anything and your passwords aren't just sitting out in the open. Took me maybe 20 minutes to set up and I haven't mixed up a login box since.
