Found out my 'cheap' coworking desk in Chiang Mai costs more per year than a studio

Been bouncing around Southeast Asia for 2 years now. Last week I actually added up what I spend on day passes and hot desks here. It was $185 a month on average. That's $2,220 a year. Then I saw a listing for a studio apartment near Nimman for $230 a month. Basically the same price, with a bed and my own bathroom. Started wondering how many other nomads are just burning cash on desks they don't even use full days. Have you guys ever run the numbers on your workspace costs vs just renting a place with a table?
