My worst remote work day was in a hostel in Bangkok last month
The internet kept dropping every 20 minutes and I had to video call a client about a roof repair estimate. Ended up sitting in a 7-Eleven parking lot at 11pm using their wifi to finish the quote. Has anyone else had to work from weird places to get a signal?

Read something the other day about digital nomads setting up shop in the weirdest places just to get a signal. Another guy said he did a whole presentation from a McDonald's in rural Vietnam. I've had to park my truck outside a library after hours to use their guest wifi for a job. That Bangkok story sounds miserable, especially with the heat and all.

Hotspot on my phone saved me in a pinch, worked fine for Zoom calls.
